The late occurrences of our life

Last week was BYU's Homecoming week, the magical week of free food and festivities. Saturday morning we walked to the Sinclair station and got free blue pancakes and milk! Sam wore his "chinese heelies" and skated around while I walked. It felt so good to be outside together in the crisp fall morning! The leaves are beautiful reds, oranges, and yellows, and the mountains are majestic as ever. It's really quite nice with the high's in the 50s rather than the 90s. We are happy and eager to have finally welcomed in the holiday season!

I got my hair cut! Several inches... It had gotten super long but I was really feeling a change. I was a bit nervous to have it cut at first. Especially up to collar bone length (it's been years since I've had it that short). But I love it! It's simple, but a nice change. It feels so light and free! Shampooing my hair in the morning was a bit of a shock, haha.

Sam and I spent a while last Saturday listening to a book on tape and painting these sweet little letters and picture frame for Lucy's room! It was so fun to work on together and we were pretty pleased with how they turned out. :)

Oh... and by the way.... TOMORROW WE'RE OFFICIALLY IN THE THIRD TRIMESTER!!! That's 28 weeks, folks. Where did the time go?! Less than three months till Lucy's due date and it's feeling more and more real! Can't wait to meet this little girl and see her personality.
