Tuesday, November 19th my dear Grandpa Jim passed away and joined his wife Arlene in the spirit world. It was a long year of missing her, I'm sure. They both left such a neat legacy of love to their family and we were so grateful to be able to come together and celebrate Grandpa's life and share fond memories and some good laughs. Mom and her two brothers all did a fantastic job speaking at the funeral and giving everyone a sample of the essence of Grandpa Jim, especially as a father. Thanks to Val for capturing so many wonderful pictures of Grandpa Jim's funeral. Here are a few of those pictures:

After the funeral our wonderful friends from the Hughson Ward organized a delicious lunch for the whole family. Thank you to all our dear friends and family! What a special memory we will forever have.
